Summer Camp Information!
 

About: Pray & Play is a social group for whole households with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary students and their families who share God’s love through play, children’s Bible study, fun outings and family activities. 

When: Pray & Play meets Friday mornings at 10.  Flexible scheduling allows for activities and outings to change with the seasons and with the age and interests of the participants. 

Other Times: P&P also meets for family evenings and other events throughout the year, engages in service together, and relates to families all week! 

What: Fun activities, music, time to get to know one another, as well as parent resources help households start the foundations for Christian Education in the home.  Based on the 6 keys: Caring Conversation, Devotions, Hospitality, Service, Giving Back, and Rituals; living out faith together becomes something to share and celebrate! 

Where: Pray & Play regularly meets in the lower south wing, but also has excursions to a variety of places including: parks, pools, Bounce Town, museums, Pumpkin Patch, Water World, the Denver Zoo, and more!  Many of these special events are designed for the whole family!

June
5th: Park Play Meet at Sandstone Park (Hwy 119) for some fun water playbring a sack lunch!

8-12: Daycamp! If you are under 3 & want to come parent/child to check it out you are invited! 3 and up can come all week! Nursery available for volunteers

19: Family Night!: 6:00 PM come for dinner (bring a side or dessert to share) games and movie!

26: Zoo Day! Meet at 10 am in the church parking lot to carpool to the zoo! We will visit animals, have map adventure for older kids and eat lunch there!

July
4: Family Night at the Henson’s: You are invited to Dani & Chris Henson’s home for an evening of firework fun! Come at 7:30 pm and bring snack to share! RSVP to church office

10: Kanemoto Pool Day: Meet us at the pool for some fun swimtime!1151 S. Pratty Pkwy

17: Family Night: Ice Cream Social! Meet at 6:30 pm in Thompson Park for some play time and Ice Cream!

24: Steven Day Park day! Meet at 1340 Deerwood  for a park date and lunch

31-Aug 2: Household Camp It’s time for camping! Come to Sky Ranch for the weekend with your family! There are cabins and tent sites. Contact Pastor Leta or Pastor Paul for more info! 

August
5: Water World! Join together with households of all ages for fun at the water park! Group rate available! There are great play areas for little and big kids alike! Meet at church at 9am and sign up required!

7: Park Play: 10am Thompson Park

14: Roosevelt Pool Day: 10 am meet at Roosevelt Pool!

21:  Park Day at Sandstone: Beat the heat with some more water play!

28: Family Night & Fall Kick off!:
Come at 6:00 pm for pizza, move, and games! Bring a side or dessert to share!
